missingsisterstill asked: Hello, my mentor :) do you know if there is like a timeline to call a dress victorian? I mean everything from 1899 back surley is not called victorian. For example I have a lot of dresses from the 1700s are is 'victorian" still the correct discription. I seems fashion from 1900 to 1914 is called "Edwardian Era" Or do you know where the answeres to this question could be found? Thank you. (note having trouble replying for there seems to be no "answer" option in my mail most of the time.)

No, it would not be correct Victorian, simply put, would be something from when Queen Victoria reigned (so 1837-1901). Now, the stuff from 18th century is harder to name though the most popular was the Rococo period (1725 - 1775). The easiest way to figure out when something was is the handy dandy Google machine! For example, if you aren’t sure of when the Victorian era was, simply type in Victorian era.

Also, I apologise for the late reply. I was away from my computer the entire weekend.
